ATHENA AVIATION welcomes Dick Svanberg as Senior Associate. Dick is an airline expert with over 18 years experience within operations, commercial and finance, of which seven years were spent as a member of senior management within various Scandinavian Airlines Group (SAS) subsidiaries where he directly reported to the Chief Executive Officer. He has experience with network and fleet planning, aircraft selection, operations management and control.

 

During his time in senior management and executive roles, Dick was integral to all significant commercial and operational matters. His vast experience across multiple disciplines and through managing entire business units, as well as the integration of SAS Commuter into the mainline airline, provides a rare holistic base of experience across an airline.

 

Dick adds significant experience in restructuring and performance improvement and his leadership accumen strengthens Athena Aviation's core executive and board level advisory capabilities.
