This engagement include the assessment of the organisation structure, management processes and policies, and resulted in the development of an industry specific organisation design.
In order to ensure the structure and processes designed for the airline would be most effective, the task also included the assessment of the executive and management level workforce skills and capabilities. The structure and processes were tailored to the specific needs of the airline taking into account the following to ensure it would best serve the airline immediately.
- Stage of development
- Management skills
- Systems and tools in place
- Size of the airline
- Market attractiveness for international standard management
To effectively leverage a new structure, processes were also designed to align structure to compensation and a performance management system was designed.
The airline sees this project as central to its development plans, describing it as a key cornerstone in the path to strengthening the airline for growth and leadership in the African market.
Athena Aviation is proud to have been awarded this mandate and is pleased to confirm completion. This engagement was completed by Athena Aviation deploying a very senior team of former airline executives, including two Partners and five senior associates. In total, the team brought to bear almost 130 years of senior airline management and HR experience.
