Fred has been a leading advisor to airlines and aviation policy regulators in Canada, Australia and Europe for over 28 years. His areas of expertise lie in corporate restructuring, governance, regulatory policy and de-regulation. Fred’s most notable efforts include having advised the Chairman and CEO of ACE Aviation on the restructuring of Air Canada and all related subsidiaries, advising Regional Airlines Holding Co. on the creation of Porter Airlines and advising Australian Airlines on effectively positioning in a de-regulated market. He is also a recognised expert witness, having advised on government policy in Canada and Australia.

Stephen is an experienced airline executive with more than 33 years in the industry. With a strong foundation in financial management, he has a particular focus on business structure, organisation and management processes, reporting and governance. Stephen has held a number of senior appointments at British Airways, was Deputy President at Royal Jordanian and Deputy CEO (Commercial) of NAS in Saudi Arabia. He has been on the Board of Directors of numerous airlines in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Notable accomplishments include leading the acquisiton of more than 400 aircraft, leading the development of the prospectus and the overall planning for the privatisation of British Airways, and the set up and development of numerous airlines including full service scheduled, regional, LCC, charter and executive.

Antonis Simigdalas is a proven airline executive with over 23 years experience in airline management. He co-founded and managed Aegean Aviation which broke the air transport monopoly in Greece in 1992 and grew into Aegean Airlines. He was also instrumental in the liberalisation of Ground Handling and in the founding of Goldair Handling in Greece. In 2009, as CEO, he led the creation of the new private sector airline, Olympic Air replacing the defunct Olympic Airlines. Antonis is a very active member of the aviation community having previously been elected to two terms as President of the European Regional Airlines Association. In addition to being well known for his research into competition matters, Antonis is currently a member of the European Aviation Platform at European Commission, participating as expert advisor in long term Aviation and Air Transport Strategy and Policy to the Committee chaired by EC Transport Commissioner Siim Kallas.

Michael is a world-class leader in Maintenance & Engineering best practice. He joined British Caledonian Airways in 1979 as a Licensed Engineer following 16 years in the Royal Air Force. Following a merger with British Airways, he held various senior management roles within the airline. Since 1997, he has been Chief Engineer for go, easyJet, JetStar Asia and Sama, where since 2007 he has chaired the Safety & Security Committee. Having launched three new airlines, Michael has advised both airlines and MROs including Britannia Airways, TUI AG, Lufthansa Technik and Singapore Technologies Aerospace on best practice.
